Rust Library in Leesburg is a full-service Passport Acceptance Facility. Trained staff can take photos onsite, help with filling out the forms and file paperwork with the U.S. State Department. Available services:

Please note: Rust Library DOES NOT renew passports. Visit the State Department website to learn if you are eligible to renew your passport by mail.
If you are planning to travel in 7 weeks or less, you must apply for a passport in person at a U.S. Passport Agency or Center. You must make an appointment in advance by calling 1-877-487-2778.

Tuesday-Thursday: Walk-ins between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Appointments between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.*
Friday-Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. by appointment only.
Sunday: 1 - 4 p.m. by appointment only.
*All walk-in applications must be finished by 4 p.m. Please arrive early with your completed application and all supporting documents and copies. Customers will not be placed in the queue until all materials are ready.

LOUDOUN COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY FEES
LCPL fees may be paid with check or money order in the exact amount made payable to the County of Loudoun.
Checks and money orders must be separate from payments made to the State Department. In other words, payments to the library and the State Department cannot be combined into one check or money order.
- $35 application for each passport application submitted.
- $15 for each photo needed.
